My name is Nikos Tsikalakis and I am the founder of Bronx Familia Animal Shelter.
Since 2013 I have dedicated my whole life to saving the abandoned souls of Crete.
I am currently taking care of more than 250 animals.
I rescued my first dog Bronx from the chain in 2013 and since then I have never looked back!
Animal cruelty is a serious problem here on Crete and in Greece, that is why I started rescuing because I just couldn’t turn my back on the voiceless!
So I became their voice!
We are always in need of financing our monthly dog food supplies… every month it cost us nearly 5.000€ just to feed our animals.
