Join us on an adventure in downtown Athens in the areas where the locals go to shop, eat and socialise!

We will take you to an authentic and very local meze taverna where you will experience a wide range of dishes and drinks that are all seasonal, fresh and typical of a traditional Greek diet served in our homes. We will introduce you to an incredible delicatessen and you will sample cured meats and cheese washed down with one of our most beloved drinks, Raki!  Next, we will visit a spice shop and learn about the herbs and spices most frequently used in Greek cuisine before heading to a fantastic, producer owned honey store to taste many different types of honey and olive oil and learn more about both of them.

Just when you thought you could not eat anymore, we will have desert. Locally sourced Greek yoghurt and Greek coffee with a sweet, cream pie!

Discover the city as we eat along the way and enjoy many traditional foods that you will not even have heard of before the food experience.

This tour is offered on Sunday and is NOT a visit to the fish and meat market.
